What this site is
Arcop is a desk for reading public data, and a ledger for paying for that reading. You can look up a price, a post, a repository, or a Bitcoin fee without an account. When you pay, stake, send, or collect, the receipt is a settlement on the ARCOP ledger inside this app.
The prices and posts are not stored ahead of time. A page asks CoinGecko, Hacker News, GitHub, Reddit, Wikipedia, mempool.space, Blockscout, DefiLlama, Deribit, Hyperliquid, Alternative.me, or the ECB rate when you open it. If a source is down or busy, the page says so. It does not fill the gap with made-up rows, and an empty paid call is not charged.
Two layers
1. The desks
Markets, gas, Bitcoin, briefings, and the morning page. These are for a person sitting at the screen. They do not spend ARCOP. What each desk reads.
2. The ledger
ARCOP is the unit this app settles in. It is not a coin on an exchange, and it does not leave this ledger for Ethereum or Bitcoin. Faucet claims, queries, transfers, stakes, burns, bounties, and collects become rows. Four rows seal a block. What ARCOP pays for · How a block is checked.
Where to start
- See a live price — CoinGecko, on this visit.
- Search several sources — News, code, Reddit, and Wikipedia, scored.
- Price a Bitcoin fee — Sat/vB from mempool.space, times the bitcoin price.
- Read the settlements — Every ARCOP movement, with emails removed.
- Check the books — Recompute the hashes and add the pots.
- Open an account — Then claim the faucet and try a paid call.
What this site does not do
- It does not sell ARCOP on a public market. A balance here spends only on this ledger.
- DefiLlama’s Arc page is the chain they track under that name. Its value locked is not the ARCOP supply, and it does not spend on this ledger.
- It does not turn Alternative.me’s fear and greed number into a buy or a sell. The pulse page repeats their label.
- It does not invent a dataset when the sources return nothing.
- The “fixed supply” on the chain page is the model cap. It is not a pile of coins. The audit page counts what the faucet and the opening reserve actually issued.
- A bounty funded in USDC still pays the winner in ARCOP. The USDC stays in the treasury. The guide on bounties says the same thing.
The next page is the map of the desks. The call shapes for a program are on the API docs, after you sign in.
