Arc tip · reading the chain

Privacy

This build keeps data on the machine that runs it, in a single ledger file.

What is stored

Account name, email, country, a password hash, an optional address already stored with the account, balances, API keys, bounty and job posts, submissions, applications, chat transcripts, feed registrations, votes, and the dispatch list.

What is not stored

There is no analytics vendor, no payment processor, and no remote account database. An address stored on an account is not connected to a chain.

Who can see it

Bounty briefs, submissions, job posts, and applications are visible to anyone using this app. API keys are visible to their owner and on the beta desk while they are pending. Chat transcripts stay with the account that sent them.

How long

Until someone deletes the ledger file or the record is replaced by a later action, such as a password reset.

Cookies

A single http-only session cookie keeps you signed in. It expires after 30 days.
