DCA

A fixed dollar amount bought at the last price CoinGecko recorded on each day. The lump sum spends the same total on the first day. Fees are not included. This is the path that already happened, not a plan. A bag you hold now is on PnL.

About this desk

What you use it for
Type a coin and a dollar amount to see what buying that amount once each past day would have produced. Switch 7, 30, or 90 days. The same total spent on the first day is shown beside it.
What the numbers are
Each day uses the last CoinGecko sample on that UTC date. Coins bought are the dollars divided by that price. The average is dollars spent divided by coins received. The lump sum buys everything on the first day at that day’s price.
What it leaves out
The day count can be one longer than the button if today is already in the series. Fees are not included. The path already happened. It is not a schedule for later.

Every desk is introduced the same way on the desk list.
