Funding drag
One window is whatever interval the rate belongs to, often eight hours. A positive basis-point rate is paid. A negative rate is received. The live funding board is separate. This page uses only the rate in the box.
About this desk
- What you use it for
- Type a notional, a funding rate in basis points for one window, and how many windows, from 1 to 365.
- What the numbers are
- The cash flow is the notional times the basis points divided by 10,000, then times the windows. A negative rate is money received. The percent is that flow against the notional.
- What it leaves out
- Type the rate from the venue. This page does not look up a live funding rate and does not pay it.
