About this desk

What you use it for
Switch bitcoin or ether to see put and call open interest on Deribit, the put-to-call ratio, and the eight largest lines.
What the numbers are
Open interest is in the underlying coin, as Deribit reports it. The ratio is put open interest divided by call open interest. Mark IV is their number on that line. Day volume uses the dollar volume they publish.
What it leaves out
The eight lines are the largest by open interest, not every strike. Their dollar volume is the scale they publish, not a notional you should recompute. IV is not a forecast.

Every desk is introduced the same way on the desk list.

How to read this

Open interest
Deribit reports open interest in the underlying coin. This page adds every listed put and every listed call. It does not convert that into a bet on direction.
Puts per call
The ratio is put open interest divided by call open interest. Above 1 means more coin is sitting in puts than in calls. It is a stock of positions, not a count of people.
Implied volatility
Mark IV is Deribit’s own number on that line. A higher number means the option’s price implies a wider move. This page does not turn it into a forecast.
