Coin risk
Type a coin you are thinking of buying. The report scores how thin the market is, how wide today has been, how far the price sits from the recorded high and the recorded low, how much supply is still unissued, how small the coin is, the 7-day, 30-day, and longer moves, whether those windows agree, the last hour, and the cost of moving the largest book. It keeps asking again while this tab is open. How wide the daily path was is on volatility. How two coins moved together is on correlation.
About this desk
- What you use it for
- Type a coin you might buy. The report says how risky that coin looks on public market data, and it keeps refreshing while the tab is open. Pause when you do not want another request.
- What the numbers are
- Parts are scored from 0 to 100, higher meaning riskier: thin turnover, the day’s range, distance from the recorded high and the recorded low, dilution, size, the 7-day, 30-day, and longer moves, whether those windows agree, the last hour, and the largest book’s spread and 2% move cost. The headline is the average of the parts that came back. Price and volume are CoinGecko’s. The book is their largest fresh venue.
- What it leaves out
- A missing part is omitted, not scored as zero. The book is one venue and is reused for about 8 seconds. There is no holder list and no forecast. The number is not a buy or a sell, and it is not the quality score on the score desk.
Every desk is introduced the same way on the desk list.

How to read this
- The number
- Each part is 0 to 100. Higher means that part looks riskier on the public figures. The headline is the average of the parts that came back. Lower is under 35, medium is under 55, high is under 75, and severe is the rest. A missing part is left blank. It is not added as zero, and it is not a recommendation.
- What keeps updating
- While the tab is open the page asks again every 8 seconds. The price, the hour and day percents, turnover, and the day’s range come from that grab. The largest book is reused for about 8 seconds. A failed grab keeps the previous report and says why.
- What this leaves out
- There is no holder list, no social mood for this coin, and no forecast. The book is one venue. A supply figure is whatever CoinGecko publishes, not a promise that unissued coins will be sold. Nothing here places an order.
